Hi, I’m Alison and I write New Life as New Wife.

I started "New Life as New Wife" in 2008 as a spin off to my wedding blog A Day in the life of a Rockstar Bride.

Like life, my blog has changed. My blog has now transitioned into the day-to-day challenges including how to save money, adjusting to life as a new home owner, and just recently, how to adjust to life after re-quitting my corporate job.

Prior to becoming a "grown-up", I spent the last 6 to 9 years as an IT professional, dance instructor and an awesome Rockstar wife.

Now, I walk dogs, teach yoga, teach dance and rockout as a the wife of a rockstar.

Morning read and fresh new day

Sunday, March 27, 2011

I was surprised with the amount of energy I had yesterday! I was in a super great mood teaching and stayed up until 930pm. I thought I'd need an afternoon nap, but I guess I not. I will admit that by 6pm, my energy was quickly fading, but after 12 hours of being awesome-sauce, I think that's reasonable.

This morning I was up at 6am, and although my Sunday's have traditionally been designated to getting caught up on Coronation Street, I've decided to take Seamus out for his morning run and then get caught up on my show. I'm also making my first attempt at doing my own taxes which I plan to start today. Sadly I cannot justify paying my tax accountant this year.

Tomorrow's plan is to wake up at 5am, and make my way down to a 630 yoga class. I've been a HORRIBLE student, so I need to get back into the routine. I've also purchased a whack load of class passes that expire the end of this year.  I would not be impressed if I donated more money to a non-charitable place!

Here's to another energized day!

{currently re-reading my Sookie stackhouse series for the 3rd time. The plan to re-read all of them before my new book arrives in May, and so I can remember this story line versus that of True Blood}
