Yesterday I decided I wanted to move into a nice country home ... 5 years from now. I want an old farm house, with a nice sized yard for Seamus to run in, with a granny flat attached for my folks to live in. Mom will grow a nice garden of lush veggies, and possibly learn how to preserve food so they can last us all winter (this is news to her) and my father will maintain the yard with the driving lawn mower I will buy for him. Oh and if I have kids they will babysit them 24x7!!
Now, I need to figure out what my job will be to maintain said country home. Robin and I joke about opening up a sister dance studio in Belleville ON (where I grew up)for me to run. In my opinion, the dance options out there are limited with regards to the quality of dance training, and I have enough friends with kids who will have no choice but to join. I still think this is a great plan, and just may butter up my successful-dance-studio-owner friend into getting into this with me. Oh and we will add yoga, thai yoga massage, and a music school to this future business.
Hi, I’m Alison and I write New Life as New Wife.
I started "New Life as New Wife" in 2008 as a spin off to my wedding blog A Day in the life of a Rockstar Bride.
Like life, my blog has changed. My blog has now transitioned into the day-to-day challenges including how to save money, adjusting to life as a new home owner, and just recently, how to adjust to life after re-quitting my corporate job.
Prior to becoming a "grown-up", I spent the last 6 to 9 years as an IT professional, dance instructor and an awesome Rockstar wife.
Now, I walk dogs, teach yoga, teach dance and rockout as a the wife of a rockstar.

I will now reiterate my willingness to teach at your satellite studio in Belleville. In fact, maybe since you are thinking of country-living, you could open it in the Stirling/Frankford area, since there seems to little to no option therein.
